The VALINO PERGEA 08R is our flagship tire which consists of a UTQG compound of 200-AA-A that was designed with the sole purpose to provide overwelming grip and performance to the driver while maintaining the longevity needed for daily driven applications. The PERGEA tire also has a starting tread depth of 10/32nd in order to provide the driver with extended tire life.

Vigorous and countless trial and error prototype testing led to the development model. The next stage of development took form with harsh testing completed by select drivers actively competing on a professional level, other than the development drivers Naoki Nakamura and Testsuya Hibino. Including D1GP driver Katsuhiro Ueo (former D1GP Series Champion), FD Japan driver Andrew Gray (3 time FD Japan Series Champion), and D1GP driver Naoto Suenaga, endless tests to perfect a “winning” racing tire capable of out performing in both Drift and Time Attack applications led to the development of the extreme product: VALINO PERGEA
